A couple of months ago, we flew to Lisbon with the Sportmedia team to cover the city’s marathon. The mission? Film the expo and the race, edit it, and publish it the same day.

It was the first time I worked with such tight deadlines. Normally, I edit reels the next day, calmly from home. But this time, I was editing in a café just one hour after filming—racing against the clock. The result turned out well, but it came with a lot of pressure and stress.

A few months later, same job with Hoka, this time in Seville. Practice really does make perfect. I felt calmer, more in control, and even allowed myself the “luxury” of adding a few effects.

P.S. That first shot of me editing calmly at home? Fake. The reality: sitting on the floor, editing behind the booth at the race expo.
